Time for a little update now, that little 18-year-old me made me sound like such a twat. My name is Sacha, I was born in Thailand, grew up in Vienna, did a foundation year in UCA Canterbury and now I'm finishing my second year in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. I am 20 years old and I still live a crazy life. I've been embracing my calling as an artist, yes it's a gift but more importantly it's a curse. Your future is uncertain and it makes you live life half way between reality and imagination. If you like what you see feel free to reblog, facebook, tweet, share whatever other social media has to offer these days.

Remember when Ferrari and Puma collaborated and made shoes?
Well, this was for the competition with Wilson and Michelin.
OK, so now a days you see 9-year-old kids with make up, you see a third grader with cell phones, who are they gonna call? Dora? You see children in the playground with iPod, they probably know like two songs, what are they gonna do? Shuffle them? So I thought of this picture having a child running away from a police car struggling with a wagon full of toys.
This girl, Rebecca, asked me in my group tutorial: “Why are you doing this? I mean parents are never going to listen”. This was my answer: Why did Gandhi stand up against the British influence? Or to bring it closer to home, why are we protesting and starting riots against the government with tuition fees rising when we know that violence is not going to change a thing? Because somewhere along the line we hope that somebody would listen and take what we’re trying to point out into consideration and hope for change.
God bless Rebecca, she didn’t understand why I brought up Gandhi and the riot.
Oh and PS. the text is from B.O.B.’s “The Kid”.
